Criminal without Minds to catch them?

Apparently this is what CBS planned after announcing on June 15th that the show Criminal Minds will suffer some cast changes: they were letting go A.J. Cook (who plays Jennifer Jareau) and the participation of Paget Brewster (who plays Emily Prentiss) will be dramatically reduced.

After reading and hearing this terrible news, the cast and fans started working on the situation; a petition was released on the Internet so CBS could know all the people supporting AJ and Paget, the petition can be signed here http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?cmwomen and it already has around 40,000 signers.

There’s also a new Twitter group created (@savetheCMLadies) in order to trend this theme and put some pressure on CBS’ President, Nina Tassler. Besides the tweets, the company is facing millions of phone calls, faxes and emails to other executives besides Tassler.

Within two days of popping out the news, the pressure looks to be working while the news reported on Friday 18th that negotiations around Paget’s contract while keep the same conditions though they are still letting A.J. go.

Looks like CBS is facing a huge fan rage if they don’t keep both talented actresses, since all of them promised to stop watching the show and cause a huge economical impact to the network.
